About the Position My client is a leader in the fire and security market and they are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to expand existing and create new client relationships within the M&E sector. The purpose of the position will be to work with M&E contractors to sell and demonstrate my client s products. You will generate demand and create enabling frameworks for enterprise engagement, supporting the regional sales teams to explore the created opportunity and close sales. Key Duties * The role is a self-starting role, so you must ensure productivity and effectiveness from direct and indirect activities* You will focus on high value accounts, leading high value accounts while working in partnership with the local sales team to gain more opportunities * The role will focus mainly on contractor activity initially selling fire detection products but always keeping a mindset of enterprise sales.* You will attend networking events and industry events to create new contacts to expand into a working relationship * The successful candidate will develop and own their growth/account plan, with a strong focus on new customer sales alone with developing existing account development * The role is required to define how they company will drive strategic growth and take accountability for the vertical market or channel.* You will work directly at enterprise level and indirectly through the local sales team to focus on sales pipeline. * You will oversee developing a strategic pricing plan to simplify and standardise the approach to the channel to meet the requirements of the local procurement teams * You will work with the regional sales team at high level sales meetings in order to close deals and create further opportunitiesWhat you need * Previous experience working within a similar industry selling fire and security products and/or be from a broader M&E contracting background * Ability to develop a sales pipeline from scratch * Professional experience in relationship and sales development * You must have the energy to engage enterprise accounts no - Principals only.
